Friday's Watchlist ("we", "our", "the Service") operates the website fridayswatchlist.com and the Friday's Watchlist Chrome browser extension. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

2. Browser Extension — Data Collected

When you use the Friday's Watchlist extension on a supported auction page (Cars & Bids, Bring a Trailer, PCarMarket), the extension reads the publicly visible content of that page — including the vehicle title, description, images, specifications, bid history, and Q&A — and sends it to our API at api.fridayswatchlist.com to generate an AI-powered auction report.

We do not collect:

  • Your name, email address, or account credentials from third-party sites
  • Your browsing history on any site other than supported auction pages
  • Any payment information
  • Any data from pages you visit that are not supported auction listings

The extension only activates on URLs matching carsandbids.com/auctions/*, bringatrailer.com/listing/*, and pcarmarket.com/auction/*.

3. Website — Data Collected

When you create an account on fridayswatchlist.com, we collect your email address and any profile information you choose to provide. We use this to authenticate you, send auction alerts you opt into, and personalize your experience.

We use standard web analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. How We Use Auction Data

Auction data submitted through the extension is used to generate your AI report, stored in our database to power search and valuation tools on fridayswatchlist.com, and used to train and improve our AI price prediction model. The underlying auction data is publicly available on the source sites.

5. Data Retention

Auction records are retained indefinitely as part of our historical pricing database. Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account data by emailing [email protected].

6. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Extension requests are authenticated with a shared key and rate-limited. We do not store raw auction page HTML or user browsing sessions.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
