This 1962 Austin-Healey 3000 BT7 Mk II was purchased new in May 1962 from Agence Française Austin in Paris, France, by the seller’s father, who at the time was stationed in Europe with the United States Army. The car was shipped to New York in September 1962 and driven to Oregon, and later that year it was shipped from Seattle, Washington, to Anchorage, Alaska. After limited use in Alaska, the Healey was shipped back to Washington state in 1966, and it was used infrequently and stored in the Pacific Northwest until being recommissioned around 2000.
