This “Track-T” roadster was built many years ago by Phil Hobbs, a hot rodder in Indiana, using a steel Ford body shell and a modified Franklin frame. Power comes from a 284ci flathead stroker V8 with an ISKY camshaft, Navarro aluminum heads, and triple Stromberg 48 carburetors, and it is linked to a three-speed manual transmission and a ’37 rear axle. Aluminum was used to form the custom grille, louvered hood, and bead-rolled interior panels, and the car rides on 15” steel wheels with a front tube axle, a ’48 steering box, transverse leaf springs, and front disc brakes.
