This 1965 Maserati Mistral is one of 125 Spyders manufactured over five years of production and is among 27 examples built with power from a 3.5-liter DOHC inline-six. Chassis 049 left the factory on March 4, 1965, for delivery to the US via Hoffman Motor Cars in New York. It was purchased circa 2015 by Rush drummer and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Neil Peart, who subsequently commissioned a refurbishment that included a color change to silver in accordance with the “Silver Surfer” theme of his car collection.
