This 1945 Ford GPW was acquired by the seller’s grandfather around 1991, and it was acquired by the seller in 2012. A refurbishment conducted by MV Specialties of Hastings, Minnesota, was completed in 2021 and involved replacement of the tub, overhauling the braking and electrical systems, and rebuilding the 134ci inline-four, the three-speed manual transmission, and the dual-range transfer case. The electrical system has been converted 12 volts, and PerTronix electronic ignition has been installed along with a TightSteer tensioner and front lockout hubs.
