This 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A was ordered new from Mr. Norm’s Grand Spaulding Dodge of Chicago, Illinois, in July 1970. The coupe is one of approximately 2,400 examples produced to homologate the model for competition in the SCCA’s Trans-Am series. T/A-specific equipment included a flat-black fiberglass hood with a functional scoop, a rear spoiler, longitudinal black stripes, and a side-outlet dual exhaust system.
