This 1965 Maserati Mistral is one of 125 Spyders manufactured during five years of production and is among 27 examples built with power from a 3.5-liter DOHC inline-six. Chassis 101 left the factory in September 1965 for delivery to Sport Auto Roma in Italy and was sold by a Soresina owner in 1991 to a Castelfranco Veneto dentist who retained it for 22 years. The car is said to have spent time in the Museo Nazionale dell’Automobile in Turin between 2004 and 2005 before being purchased in 2013 by a German owner who commissioned a refresh of the running gear by Linnartz & Peschl in Cologne, Germ
