This 1969 Ford Mustang 428 is one of 52 hardtops equipped from the factory with an R-code 428ci Cobra Jet Ram-Air V8 and a C-6 automatic transmission for the model year. Finished in Silver Jade over black vinyl upholstery, it was sold new in California and ordered with Competition Suspension, 14″ wheels, air conditioning, and an AM radio. The car is believed to have been restored before it was displayed at the Pate Museum of Transportation in Texas. In 2014, it was displayed at the 2014 MCA Prairieland Roundup, achieving a claimed 681/700 points and being recognized as a Concours Gold winner.
