This 1965 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was delivered new to R.T. Ayers Chevrolet of Yukon, Oklahoma, and it remained in the state for 38 years. It was moved to Virginia in the early 2000s, where the 396ci L78 V8, four-speed manual transmission, rear end, and front suspension systems were rebuilt, and the interior was reupholstered in black vinyl. It went on to earn NCRS Top Flight at events in 2001 and 2002.
