This 1939 Indian Four was refurbished by marque specialist John Rank of Cedarburg, Wisconsin, before being purchased by its current owner in 1992, and the seller tells us that work completed that same year involved a repaint in the 1939 World’s Fair celebratory color scheme of metallic blue and silver along with an overhaul of the 77ci flathead inline-four by the late Dick Davies of Davies Antique Motorcycles, an Indian expert engine builder located in Indiana. The bike is further equipped with a hand-shifted three-speed transmission, a leaf-spring fork, 18″ wire-spoke wheels, valanced fenders
