This 1961 Porsche 356B Roadster was modified with a 901 five-speed manual transaxle and 911-specification rear suspension and was raced throughout the mid-1960s. After being acquired as a non-running project by noted Porsche racer, engine builder, and author Duane Spencer in the mid-1980s, the car was recommissioned and used in numerous vintage races throughout the late 1980s. It was refurbished for road use and repainted red following its final full race at Riverside in July 1988.
