This 1930 Cadillac Series 452 V-16 was delivered new in Canada. It was rebodied as a convertible coupe and earned American Automobile Club of America (AACA) and Classic Car Club of America (CCCA) first prizes before it was purchased by the late best-selling adventure novelist Clive Cussler in 2006. It was subsequently placed into the Cussler Museum collection in Arvada, Colorado. The car wears factory-specified red and burgundy paint over red leather upholstery, and power comes from a 452ci 45° OHV V16 with dual updraft carburetors mated to a three-speed manual transmission.
