This 1927 Rolls-Royce Phantom is one of approximately 1,244 examples built on the 40/50 New Phantom platform at the company’s American factory in Springfield, Massachusetts, between 1925 and 1931. Chassis S106PM is said to have started its life as a Tilbury sedan before being sent to Brewster & Co. in Long Island, New York, in 1930 for the installation of a Playboy roadster body with updated contemporary lighting and hardware.
