This 1950 ZIS-110B is said to be one of approximately 100 examples of the model’s convertible variant built by Zavod imeni Stalina in Moscow between 1946 and 1958 and is reportedly one of three phaetons assigned to Kyiv, Ukraine, in 1955 for ceremonial use by senior military officers and government officials. The car remained in service through 1980 and in 1986 was sold to the chairman of the Kyiv Avtoveteran Club, from whose estate it was purchased by its current owner in 2021.
