This 1962 Lincoln Continental convertible was built in April 1962 for the Detroit sales district and is one of approximately 3,200 produced for its model year. It was registered with one owner until 1991, according to the seller, who tells us it was refurbished in Michigan over 18 months between 1995 and 1997 by Roy “Skip” Starbird of C&S Stitchworks and Starbird Auto Glass and Trim, and the work included a repaint in Bermuda Blue Metallic, refreshing its blue interior, and overhauling its 430ci V8, three-speed automatic, power-operated convertible top, power steering, brakes, and suspension.
