This 1950 Willys-Overland Jeepster was spotted on the side of the road in 1987 by the seller, who was initially interested in its radio to install in another vehicle. After the prior owner refused to sell just the radio, the seller purchased the Jeepster to refurbish with his son. The work was carried out in the late 1990s and early 2000s, and is said to have involved overboring and overhauling the 134ci Hurricane inline-four, replacing the brakes, and fitting the suspension with new bushings and rear springs in addition to performing a bare-metal repaint in yellow with black and chrome accent
