This 1929 Cord L-29 is one of 1,168 Front Drive phaetons produced between 1929 and 1932 at the Cord Corporation’s Auburn, Indiana, plant with coachwork by the Limousine Body Company. The car is said to have been completed in October 1929 and spent time in the 1950s with a Pennsylvania owner before undergoing a refurbishment in the late 1980s under subsequent Wisconsin ownership. It then spent two decades in The Academy of Art University Collection in San Francisco before being purchased in early 2025 by the seller, who performed a refurbishment over the next year that included a repaint in whi
