The 2026 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray Coupe 1LZ sold for $82,500, and that's strong money for a car with this kind of tech and performance.

This E-Ray is a game-changer in the Corvette lineup, featuring a 6.2L Hybrid V8 that cranks out 655 horsepower and 595 lb-ft of torque. With only 1,400 miles on the clock, it’s practically brand new. The mid-mounted engine setup adds to its appeal, offering the handling enthusiasts crave. Plus, the all-wheel-drive system is a first for Corvettes, making it a standout for those who want both speed and stability. The car's spec is impressive, boasting 20-inch front and 21-inch rear forged wheels, carbon ceramic brakes, and a leather interior with power-adjustable GT bucket seats. This blend of performance and luxury makes it a desirable pick for buyers who want cutting-edge technology in a classic package.

As for the price, it sold for just 4% above the fair value estimate of $79,300. With 20 bids, it shows there was genuine interest, but the final price reflects a solid premium for that low mileage and the hybrid technology. Given the market dynamics, this price seems fair, especially considering the unique features and low use.

Community chatter on this one was positive. One comment noted, “absolutely a great deal,” while another user highlighted the resale demand issue with similar models, saying, “I had a C7 Z06 that was 1LZ and the resale demand wasn’t there.” It’s clear this E-Ray is generating excitement, but there's a bit of caution about future resale value.

For buyers eyeing a similar vehicle, keep an eye on the mileage and condition but also think about drivetrain options. With the E-Ray's hybrid powertrain, understanding how that impacts long-term maintenance and resale is crucial. Make sure to check the warranty details and any possible tech upgrades that might be released in the coming years, as they could affect desirability down the line.
