The 2015 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe sold for $35,255, a deal that came in at 15% below fair market value, making it a steal for the winner.

This S63 is a performance-rich luxury coupe powered by a 5.5L twin-turbocharged V8, cranking out a solid 577 horsepower. It features a 7-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, which are big selling points. With 84,500 miles on the clock, it’s not exactly low-mileage, but it’s still a potent option for anyone looking for a balance of power and comfort. The Driving Assistance Package Plus and the eye-catching Swarovski crystal LED headlights add to its allure. The aftermarket 22-inch wheels give it a more aggressive stance, but they shouldn't overshadow the fact that this car carries some cosmetic blemishes and interior wear.

Considering the bidding action with 18 total bids, there was clear interest in this model. However, it still sold for $35,255 against a fair value estimate of $41,300. That’s a significant drop, suggesting buyers were cautious, likely due to the high mileage and those cosmetic issues. While the modifications are limited, they did enhance the car's aesthetic without compromising its integrity, so it strikes a good balance.

Community reactions were positive. One commenter noted, "Congrats! Beautiful, comfortable car that goes like stink." Another shared, "I was all in at $33k but I said — eh what’s a couple grand more haha." These comments highlight the general excitement around the car and the perceived value of the sale.

For buyers hunting a similar car, keep an eye on maintenance records and any modifications. This S63 has a comprehensive service history, which is a critical factor in high-performance cars, especially with mileage like this. Check for any signs of wear that might not be immediately visible and assess the quality of any aftermarket changes. Knowing how to differentiate between good and bad modifications can save you a lot of headaches down the road.
