The modified 2014 Porsche 911 Carrera S Coupe has sold for $69,911, marking a strong deal for a well-prepped track car with significant modifications.

This 911 Carrera S is a standout when it comes to performance. With a 3.8-liter flat-six engine paired to a seven-speed manual transmission, it delivers a thrilling driving experience. Notably, it features a third radiator kit, a performance exhaust, and upgraded suspension, enhancing its track capabilities. The car's mileage sits at 91,000 miles, which is high for a 2014 model, but in the realm of track cars, this mileage is often expected. It’s dressed in white and sports a ducktail rear spoiler, making it visually distinctive while still being functional.

The sale price of $69,911 is hard to argue with given the context. The bidding saw 12 participants, indicating solid interest in this modified beast. The fair value estimate pegged this car at $83,200, which means it sold for about 16% less than expected. That’s a significant discount for a car that’s not just a street cruiser but also a capable track machine. Buyers often look for strong performance modifications, and this one has them in spades, making the price seem even more attractive.

Community members were quick to celebrate the win. One commenter noted, “Congrats to you @zomoidaz! Nice fight put up by @mrtatsu! You have won an awesome 991, with many enjoyable miles ahead.” This reflects the excitement around this sale, underscoring that the buyer got themselves a solid performer at a fair price.

For anyone on the hunt for a similar modified Porsche 911, keep an eye on the modifications. While performance upgrades are a plus, ensure they’re from reputable sources and properly installed. Also, check the maintenance history closely, especially with high-mileage examples. A well-maintained track car can offer a thrilling ride without the headaches that come from poor upkeep.
