The 2007 [Saturn Sky](https://fridayswatchlist.com/search?make=Saturn&model=Sky) Red Line sold for $6,600, which is a deal—about 15% below the fair value estimate of $7,800.

The Sky Red Line is a compact sports car that packs a punch with its 2.0L turbocharged I4 engine and a 5-speed manual transmission. This setup is key for driving enthusiasts who appreciate the connection of shifting gears themselves. With a convertible body style and just one owner in Texas, this car has some appealing traits. It comes equipped with 18-inch wheels, leather upholstery, and a limited-slip differential, all of which add to the thrill factor. Yes, it has high mileage at 100,300, but that’s not a deal-breaker for a car that’s meant to be driven.

The sale price of $6,600 is quite attractive when you consider the bidding action—26 bids indicate solid interest, suggesting that buyers recognized the value. While the mileage could raise some eyebrows, the manual transmission and turbo engine are desirable features that help maintain its appeal. Selling for $1,200 under the fair value estimate really gives the impression that this was a smart buy, especially for someone looking for a fun project car.

Community sentiment backs this up. One user noted, “Great Buy,” while another congratulated the new owner, saying, “You’re getting a great car!” Clearly, the buzz around this auction was positive. The consensus among community members seems to be that the buyer got a solid deal, reinforcing the idea that the price was well below what the market might typically command for a model like this.

For anyone on the hunt for a similar vehicle, it’s crucial to keep an eye on the car’s accident history and general wear and tear. This Sky Red Line had a minor accident history, which can affect resale value and future maintenance. Always ask for detailed service records and inspect for cosmetic issues, especially in high-mileage vehicles. A little diligence can lead you to a deal just like this one.
