The 2007 Mercedes-Benz S550 Designo Mystic White Edition sold for $17,750, and that's strong money for a car that blends luxury, low mileage, and a limited-edition pedigree.

This S550 isn't just any sedan; it’s a limited-edition model with a unique designo Mystic White Metallic paint job and plush designo Porcelain Nappa leather interior. The heart of the beast is a 5.5-liter V8 engine, delivering a smooth ride through a seven-speed automatic transmission. With just 56,000 miles, it's in excellent condition, appealing to both collectors and those looking for a high-end daily driver. The car also boasts features like a panoramic sunroof and Airmatic semi-active suspension, making it a well-rounded choice for those who value both comfort and performance.

The auction saw a competitive 28 bids, indicating strong interest in this model. At $17,750, the price aligns well with what you'd expect for a low-mileage luxury sedan of this caliber. Given the mileage, transmission type, and the fact that it’s a limited-edition model, this price seems justified. There’s typically a market for these cars, especially when they’re well-maintained, and the buzz around this auction reflects that.

The community was buzzing with excitement post-sale. One comment stood out: “These are fantastic cars, and you got yourself a beauty for the price of a used Nissan Sentra!” That pretty much sums it up. This sale shows that buyers are ready to pay a premium for something special, especially when it's as well-equipped and low-mileage as this S550.

For anyone hunting a similar vehicle, it's crucial to check the service history and any potential maintenance issues, particularly with the air suspension and electronics that can be finicky in luxury cars. Make sure to verify how well the previous owner maintained it, as those details can make or break your ownership experience.
