The 2007 Mercedes-Benz CLK350 Cabriolet sold for $5,722, and that’s a deal worth celebrating.

This CLK350 packs a 3.5-liter V6 engine and a seven-speed automatic transmission, a combination that balances performance and comfort nicely. With 90,000 miles on the odometer, it might seem high, but for a luxury convertible, that’s not a deal-breaker. The Black exterior and Stone Nappa leather interior give it an upscale feel, while the power-operated soft top and heated front seats make it a great choice for both daily cruising and weekend escapes. The 18-inch AMG wheels add a sporty flair, appealing to buyers who want both luxury and a bit of attitude.

When it comes to pricing, this sale was a steal. The bidding reached 24 offers, indicating a healthy interest in this model. However, the final sale price of $5,722 came in at a solid 22% below the fair value estimate of $7,300. That kind of discount on a well-maintained convertible is hard to ignore. Given the mileage and the automatic transmission, this price reflects a market that’s still undervaluing high-mileage luxury cars, especially those that don’t break the bank.

Community reactions were telling. One user asked, "Why did this one sell so cheap?" It’s a fair question considering the car’s features and condition. The car offered a lot of value for the price, and it’s clear that some buyers still hesitate when it comes to higher-mileage vehicles, even if they're in good shape.

For anyone eyeing a similar CLK350 or a luxury convertible, one practical takeaway is to pay close attention to service history and maintenance records. Cars like this can be gems if they've been well cared for, so don’t shy away from asking for documentation that proves the previous owner kept up with maintenance. A clean-title status is also a big plus, but it's the maintenance that often makes or breaks the deal in the luxury segment.
