This 2004 Honda S2000 sold for $33,000, which is a deal given its condition and specs.

This particular S2000 is a gem, with just 20,000 miles and a one-owner history. The car comes from the seller’s grandparents, making it a unique find for any Honda fan. It’s an AP2 model, which means it’s powered by the 2.2-liter VTEC inline-four engine and comes with a six-speed manual transmission. That combo is key for anyone who values engagement on the road. The car is finished in Berlina Black with a matching black leather interior, complemented by 18" TSW multi-spoke wheels and xenon headlights. Features like these not only enhance the car's aesthetics but also its driving experience, making it a stylish and fun open-air option.

The sale price of $33,000 is quite low, especially when you consider the FW fair value estimate of $42,100. This means it sold for 22% below what’s considered market-correct. The bidding was vigorous, with 24 bids, indicating strong interest in this low-mileage, clean-title car. It’s clear that buyers recognize the value here, and the final price reflects a great opportunity for the new owner.

Community reactions were overwhelmingly positive. One commenter hit the nail on the head, saying, “Ouch! Buyer stole this one.” That pretty much sums up the sentiment around this auction. It’s not every day you find an S2000 in such pristine condition at this price.

For anyone hunting for a similar car, keep an eye on the mileage and service history. Low-mileage examples like this one can be few and far between, and having a single-owner history adds significant value. Make sure to verify the car's condition thoroughly, as any signs of wear or neglect can dramatically affect the price. This S2000 is a perfect example of how a well-maintained car can turn into a fantastic investment, both in terms of enjoyment and future value.
