This one-owner 2003 Honda S2000 sold for $19,750, which is strong money given the mileage and condition.

The S2000 is a revered roadster, known for its rev-happy 2.0-liter VTEC inline-four engine and engaging six-speed manual transmission. This particular model, with its Silverstone Metallic exterior and red leather interior, checks the boxes that attract buyers. The rear-wheel-drive layout enhances the car's sporty character, making it a favorite among driving purists. With 107k miles, it might seem high for some, but it’s a testament to the car's reliability and the owner's commitment to maintenance.

At $19,750, the sale price is just 1% below the estimated fair value of $19,900. That makes it a market-correct sale, especially considering the 38 bids. The strong interest in this S2000 reflects the ongoing demand for well-maintained examples, particularly those with a manual transmission. A six-speed manual is a key feature that elevates the driving experience, and the high bid count indicates that buyers recognize the value in a well-loved, one-owner car like this.

The community buzz was positive, with comments highlighting the car's appealing color combination. One user noted, “Congrats @mike3kgt you definitely got a great price for a awesome color combo,” capturing the excitement around this sale. Another chimed in, humorously suggesting that the buyer should make arrangements to share the car with the seller, signaling the strong connections within the S2000 community.

For buyers on the hunt for a similar car, pay close attention to the service history and maintenance records. High mileage isn’t a deal-breaker, but a well-documented history of care can make all the difference in your purchase. Check for signs of wear and tear, particularly on items like the convertible top and interior, since these can impact future enjoyment and resale value.
