This 2001 Ford Mustang Bullitt GT sold for $19,001, and that's strong money for such a low-mileage, limited-edition ride.

Let’s break down why this Bullitt matters. With just 14,000 miles, it’s one of only 5,582 examples produced, making it a rare find. The 4.6-liter V8 engine paired with a five-speed manual transmission is what serious drivers crave. The Bullitt isn’t just another Mustang; it’s a nod to the iconic movie featuring Steve McQueen, which gives it that extra layer of appeal. Add in features like Brembo brakes and aftermarket 17" wheels, and you’ve got a car that speaks to both performance and style. The Black Clearcoat paint and Dark Charcoal leather interior don’t hurt either—this car is built for someone who appreciates the finer points of the Mustang lineage.

Now, let’s talk numbers. The bidding reached 50 bids, which shows a good amount of interest and competition. Given the mileage, manual transmission, and those collector-friendly traits, this price feels justified. Low-mileage, well-maintained examples of the Bullitt tend to hover in the $16,000 to $20,000 range, so hitting $19,001 sits right in that sweet spot. It’s a strong bid, especially considering the rarity of this particular model.

The community was buzzing, with a comment from @elongo standing out: “No hurries, reach out when you are ready.” It captures both the excitement and the casual vibe of the auction. Bidders were eager, and it’s clear this Bullitt sparked interest among the crowd.

For anyone on the hunt for a similar Mustang, pay attention to the mileage and condition. A low-mileage example like this is worth more, but also make sure to check for proper service history and any modifications. You want to ensure the car hasn’t been abused or poorly maintained. With the Bullitt’s limited production, a well-documented example can yield better long-term value, so keep those records close when you’re shopping around.
