A 2001 [BMW Z3](https://fridayswatchlist.com/search?make=BMW&model=Z3) 2.5i with just 24,000 miles sold for $16,250—a strong money result that might make buyers think twice about the current market for low-mileage roadsters.

This Z3 is a one-owner gem, finished in Titanium Silver Metallic and featuring a black leatherette interior. The heart of this roadster is the 2.5-liter inline-six engine, paired with a five-speed manual transmission. For many, the manual gearbox is a key selling point—it makes the driving experience more engaging. Rear-wheel drive adds to the fun factor, making it a well-rounded package for both casual drives and spirited outings. With only 24k on the clock, this car is in prime condition, which is a huge draw for collectors and enthusiasts.

The sale price of $16,250 is 18% above the $13,800 fair value estimate. That's significant, especially considering the 45 bids that show a competitive auction atmosphere. This level of interest indicates that buyers are willing to pay a premium for low-mileage, well-maintained examples. While the price may feel steep, the vibrant bidding suggests a strong desire for this model, particularly one in such good shape.

Community reactions were positive, with one user noting, “Congratulations @julian2025, you bought a really nice one.” Another chimed in about the fun of driving it home with the top down, emphasizing the joy these cars can bring. Comments like these underline how the Z3 is starting to gain appreciation, especially the manual versions. Buyers see potential in these cars, and that sentiment could drive future prices up.

For anyone hunting a similar Z3, pay attention to the mileage and the transmission. Manuals are becoming harder to find, and lower mileage often translates to fewer issues down the line. Check for complete service records and any modifications that might affect value. A well-kept Z3 like this one can be a blast to drive, and its rising popularity means you might want to act fast if you find a good one.
