The 2000 Ford F-250 Super Duty XLT SuperCab Power Stroke sold for $18,750, and that's a deal.

This particular truck is powered by the revered 7.3-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel V8, a workhorse engine known for its longevity and reliability. With only 87,000 miles on the clock, it strikes a balance between low mileage and robust performance. The SuperCab configuration offers extra space, making it versatile for both daily driving and heavy-duty tasks. Add in features like aFe air intake, a drop-in bedliner, and a receiver hitch, and you’ve got a truck that’s ready for just about anything. The Harvest Gold Metallic paint gives it a unique flair, while the medium parchment cloth upholstery ensures comfort.

Now let's talk numbers. The bidding saw a total of eight participants, which indicates a healthy interest in this truck. The selling price of $18,750 came in at 16% below the fair value estimate of $22,200. That’s not just a slight discount; it’s a solid win for the buyer. Given the low mileage, the desirable engine, and the overall condition, this price is definitely on the low end of the market spectrum.

Community reactions were positive, with comments like "Congrats to the buyer. Great win," echoing the sentiment that this was a smart purchase. It’s clear that the truck’s features, including the quirky train horn system, added to its charm and appeal.

For anyone on the hunt for a similar vehicle, keep an eye on the condition and service history of the Power Stroke V8 engine. These engines can go the distance, but like any diesel, they benefit from regular maintenance. Look for records, and don't hesitate to ask about any modifications. A well-cared-for truck like this one can be a reliable daily driver or a hardworking companion for years to come.
