The 1993 Land Rover Range Rover County SWB fetched a solid $25,500 at auction, and that price reflects strong money for a well-maintained example in this segment.

This specific model is notable for its rugged capability paired with a touch of luxury. Equipped with a 3.9-liter V8 and a four-speed automatic transmission, it delivers a reliable performance that appeals to both off-road adventurers and those who appreciate vintage SUVs. The Ardennes Green Metallic finish over tan leather gives it a distinctive look, while features like heated power-adjustable front seats and a sunroof add to its comfortable driving experience. With 151,000 miles on the clock, this Range Rover has seen some action, but the extensive maintenance history suggests it’s been well cared for, making it a solid option for buyers.

The bidding was quite competitive, with 31 bids placed before the final hammer fell. This high level of interest often indicates that buyers are willing to pay a premium for a model that combines classic appeal with functionality. Given the mileage and the car's notable traits, I’d say the final price is on point. For context, vehicles in this condition and mileage often hover in the $20,000 to $30,000 range, so this sale landed squarely in that ballpark.

Community reactions were positive, highlighting the vehicle's appeal. One comment stood out: "@RoverCruiserClassic I’ll keep an eye on it mate :)" This reflects the ongoing interest in classic Rovers, as enthusiasts are always on the lookout for well-kept examples like this one.

For anyone hunting down a similar vehicle, focus on maintenance records and any upgrades. This Range Rover's extensive service history likely contributed to its strong price. Make sure to verify the condition of key components like the transmission and engine, especially in high-mileage models. A well-documented service history can make all the difference in assessing value and potential future costs.
