This 1990 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible sold for $8,900, and that’s a deal worth celebrating. With a fair value estimate of $11,800, this ride went for about 25% under market value, making it a steal for the new owner.

The C4 generation is often overshadowed by its predecessors and successors, but this specific car checks a lot of boxes. It boasts a 5.7-liter L98 V8 engine and a six-speed manual transmission. Low mileage at just 45,000 miles makes it even more appealing. The Polo Green Metallic finish paired with a black interior adds a unique touch, as most of these cars came with tan interiors. Not to mention, the manual transmission is a big draw for driving purists who want that more engaging experience.

Bidding was competitive, with 24 bids placed, indicating that this Corvette caught the eye of several interested parties. In a market that often values low mileage and performance specs, this one stood out. For $8,900, the buyer landed a classic American sports car that balances performance, comfort, and style at a price that feels right.

Community feedback was enthusiastic. One commenter noted the rarity of the Polo Green with black interior combo, while another mentioned the significant value compared to other recent purchases. With remarks like, "This was definitely cheaper though," it’s clear that many recognized the deal this Corvette represented.

For anyone looking to snag a similar car, keep an eye on the transmission type and mileage. Manual transmissions, especially in sports cars, can have a significant impact on desirability and price. Additionally, color combos can affect value in unexpected ways, so be mindful of what’s available in the market. This Corvette proves that sometimes, a little patience can lead to a great find.
