A 1965 Pontiac LeMans Sport Coupe just sold for $8,326, and that's a deal in today’s market.

This LeMans Sport Coupe packs a punch with its 326ci V8 and four-speed manual transmission. It's a piece of classic American muscle that appeals to buyers who appreciate a car with a bit of history. With only 58,000 miles on the clock, it’s in a sweet spot for collectors looking for a low-mileage project. The fact that it spent most of its life in Florida means it likely avoided the harsh winter conditions that can wreak havoc on a vehicle’s body. Plus, the fresh yellow paint and new black vinyl upholstery give it a visually appealing update without losing the original charm. Modern electronic ignition components and a Hurst shifter add to its sporty appeal, making it a solid choice for someone who wants to enjoy the drive as much as the restoration.

When it comes to the sale price, $8,326 is well below the estimated fair value of $9,400, marking it 11% cheaper than what the market suggests. The bidding war saw 36 participants, indicating strong interest and competition among buyers, yet it still ended with a price that suggests it was a savvy buy. Given the car's specs, condition, and the low mileage, this price feels like a steal.

The community's reaction was overwhelmingly positive. One user commented, "That was the deal of the week for sure," which sums up the sentiment perfectly. Many seem to think this LeMans is not just a classic car but a fantastic investment for the right buyer.

For anyone hunting a similar model, keep an eye on the details. Focus on the car's condition, especially its mileage and any modifications. Restoration history can also significantly impact value, so verify past repairs and upgrades. If you find a car like this LeMans with low miles and desirable features, don't hesitate — the market is heating up, and deals like this won’t last long.
